The Coalition provides FREE prevention products to students, families and schools.
Purpose: To dispose of medication liquid or pills at home.
To Use: Add water until 2/3 vial is full. Empty powder pack into vial, replace cap and shake for 30 seconds. Discard in trash.
Benefit: Disposing of medication prevents accidental poisoning and misuse. Proper disposal keeps medications out of our water supply.
Purpose: Calming strips are a tool to reduce anxiety through your sense of touch
To Use: Calming strips are adhesive and can be placed to any flat surface. Once in place, you can touch, scratch or gently rub them to get the desired effect.
Benefit: The strips are specialized anxiety relief tools designed as calming strips to reduce stress and anxiety.
Purpose: To monitor containers to detect unauthorized use
To Use: Place the strip on the bottle or container lid. Check regularly to monitor .
Benefit: Allows adults to know if youth have opened products. Provides kids with a deterrent. Tamper-resistant tape also provides an excuse for youth who are pressured by friends to take alcohol, marijuana, nicotine products or medication from home.
Purpose: Safely store medication and/or cannabis products
To Use: Set your own 3-digit combination and use this number to open your box or bag
Purpose: Medication lock boxes or smell-proof locking bags encourage the safe storage of medications and/or cannabis products to prevent unwanted access by youth, visitors, and pets, and prevent accidental poisonings or misuse.
